El Salvador's bishops call for prayer, fasting in every parish in wake of gang violence

Amid spiraling gang violence in El Salvador, the nation's bishops have issued a statement pleading with the Divine Savior "to protect and save our nation."
The bishops have also called upon every parish priest to organize a holy hour, fasting, the praying of the Rosary, and processions, according to L'Osservatore Romano.
