Catholic cardinal joins Archbishop of Canterbury for ecumenical service

The leading Catholic prelate in England has joined with the Archbishop of Canterbury in a historic ecumenical service.

Cardinal Vincent Nichols of Westminster joined Dr. Justin Welby in the service, which was organized by the Anglican Holy Trinity Brompton Leadership Conference. The cardinal said that his relations with Dr. Welby are warm and productive because he and the Anglican leader have “an implicit trust in each other.”

    Perhaps Cardinal Nichols could have used the event to press for the repatriation of property stolen from Catholics. Is that what "implicit trust" means?
