Pakistani Christian teen dowsed with gasoline, burned by Islamic group

April 13, 2015

A Pakistani Christian boy is in critical condition after he was doused with gasoline and burned by a group of Muslims, the Fides news service reports.

Nauman Masih, who is 14 years old, was confronted by the young Muslims on Friday, April 10. When he explained that he was not going to the mosque because he was a Christian, he was beaten, sprinkled with gasoline, and burned by the Muslim boys—who he described as “complete strangers.” Masih is now in a hospital in Lahore, recovering from severe burns over much of his body.
