Melbourne: arson attacks on 3 churches

April 01, 2015

Since March 30, arsonists have attempted to burn down three parishes in the Archdiocese of Melbourne.

Two parishes suffered significant damage, and all three parishes were once entrusted to priests who sexually abused minors.

Auxiliary Bishop Peter Elliott of Melbourne cautioned against jumping to conclusions about whether the arsonist is an abuse victim.

“There have been fires in the recent past that haven’t had these links that are being alleged at the moment, not even the link of historical buildings,” he said. “I don’t see any pattern so far, except a very disturbed person.”

The individual is viewed as "disturbed". And yet, everyone is refusing to label ISIS as having disturbed individuals. In their case, it is all about politics. The answer is to label evil acts as sin and not psychological aberrations. Muhammed himself consummated a marriage with a 9 year old girl. He is not a saint and his followers are not either.
