Presbyterians approve same-sex marriage

The Presbyterian Church (USA), the nation’s largest Presbyterian body, has voted to permit same-sex marriages in its churches.
87 of the denomination’s regional bodies voted to approve the measure, while 41 opposed it.
The church will not compel its ministers to perform same-sex marriages.
