Kiribati's president meets with Pontiff

Pope Francis met on February 5 with President Anote Tong of the little Pacific island republic of Kiribati.
A brief Vatican statement released after the meeting indicated that the main topic of conversation had been the protection of the environment and the danger of climate change.
