Report: Islamic State beheads 4 children who refused to convert to Islam

December 11, 2014

An Anglican cleric popularly known as the “vicar of Baghdad” said that forces of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant beheaded four children who refused to convert to Islam.

According to a report in The Independent, Canon Andrew White said that in an enclave near Baghdad:

ISIS turned up and said to the children, “You say the words that you will follow Muhammad.”

The children, all under 15, four of them, said no, we love Yeshua [Jesus], we have always loved we have always followed Yeshua, Yeshua has always been with us.

They said: “Say the words.” They said, “No, we can’t.” They chopped all their heads off.

The forces of the Islamic State, he added, have “killed [Christians] in huge numbers, they chopped their children in half, they chopped their heads off, and they moved north, and it was so terrible what happened.”

Pray that these martyrs and the thousands of other recent martyrs intercede with God for peace.
