Finland's parliament approves same-sex marriage
December 02, 2014
Lawmakers in Finland have approved a bill to legalize same-sex marriage.
By a vote of 105 to 92, the Finnish parliament moved to bring their country into line with the other nations of Scandinavia, which have already recognized homosexual marriage. The law will not take effect until 2016, however.
