Year of Consecrated Life to begin November 30

The year dedicated to consecrated life, announced by Pope Francis last December, will begin on the First Sunday of Advent with Mass at St. Peter’s Basilica.
Cardinal João Braz de Aviz, prefect of the Congregation for Institutes of Consecrated Life and Societies of Apostolic Life, will preside at the November 30 Mass in the place of the Holy Father, who will be concluding his apostolic journey to Turkey that day.
