Nigeria’s bishops to gather for all-night prayer vigil
November 06, 2014
All of Nigeria’s bishops are expected to gather on the evening of November 13 for an all-night prayer vigil that includes Mass, Eucharistic adoration, and the Rosary.
The episcopal conference has invited the faithful to “turn out en masse” to the vigil, which will take place in the capital city, Abuja.
The vigil is the culmination of a six-month call to prayer by the nation’s bishops for several intentions, including the release of abducted persons, consolation for those afflicted by civil strife, and the protection of human life and the family.
