South Sudan’s Catholic radio station reopens
November 05, 2014
A Catholic radio network that had been shut down by South Sudan’s government has reopened.
The station had been shut down in August following an accusation of inaccurate reporting on the nation’s civil war. As he reopened the station, however, Archbishop Paolino Lukudu Loro of Juba said that the station had been plagued by financial and administrative irregularities that have now been addressed, according to a report published by the Association of Member Episcopal Conferences in Eastern Africa.
