Australia's former health minister condemns support for abortion abroad

March 13, 2009

Abbott, who is an active Catholic, said that Christian voters in particularly should question why the government is spending taxpayers' money to promote abortion. Foreign-aid funds, he said, should be devoted to promoting the health of needy families in developing countries rather than fueling public demand for abortion.
