Morocco hailed as model of moderate Islam

L’Osservatore Romano has published a front-page article praising Morocco as a model of coexistence between Muslims, Christians, and Jews.
Historian Lucetta Scaraffia wrote in the newspaper’s October 9 edition that Morocco is a model of “moderate Islam” characterized by “religious tolerance and respect for human rights.”
