Catholic World News - August 29, 2014
Cuba’s bishops have given a replica of the image of Our Lady of Charity, the nation’s patroness, to Pope Francis, and the image has been accorded a place of honor in the Vatican Gardens, according to a Vatican Radio report.
Cardinal Tarcisio Bertone, the former Secretary of State, presided over the ceremony in Vatican Gardens, at which Pope Francis and a delegation of Cuban bishops were present.
