Mexican report: 45,000 children abducted for sex traffic, organ transplants

Catholic World News - August 12, 2014

An estimate 45,000 children have been abducted and exploited by sexual predators and organ traffickers, the Fides news service reports.

The Foundation for the Research of Missing and Abducted Children has said that criminal gangs seize children between the ages of 7 and 10, and sell them as prostitutes or harvest their organs for a flourishing underground market in human organs for transplants.

Some of these children in poorer European countries are neither missing nor abducted but sold by their parents for these purposes. The concept of human dignity must be restored!
