Argentine president visits Pope at anniversary of his election

Argentina’s president Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner met on March 16 with Pope Francis, congratulating the Pontiff as he marked the 1st anniversary of his election to the papacy.
The Pope met first with President Kirchner and a large delegation from Argentina, then privately with Kirchner.
