On Christmas, Pope Francis celebrates anniversary of his Baptism
Catholic World News - December 23, 2013
On Christmas Day, Pope Francis will be celebrating the anniversary of his baptism, Vatican Insider points out.
The Pope, who celebrated his 77th birthday on December 17, was baptized in Buenos Aires just over a week after his birth.
Coincidentally his predecessor, Pope-emeritus Benedict XVI, was also baptized on a great feast day. Born on April 16, 1927, Joseph Ratzinger was baptized that same day at the Easter Vigil.
