Pope mourns after homeless man found dead in Vatican garage

Catholic World News - December 11, 2013

Pope Francis was “profoundly saddened” by the news that a homeless man had died alone in a Vatican parking garage, the Vatican press office said.

The body of the homeless man was discovered on December 10. The Pope—who has twice commented on how said it is that the media ignore the deaths of the homeless–was also disappointed that the man’s death did not receive greater public attention.
