Vatican newspaper tribute to religious historian Romana Guarnieri

Catholic World News - November 04, 2013

L’Osservatore Romano has published a tribute to Romana Guarnieri, a scholar of medieval spirituality, on the centenary of her birth.

The tribute, written by Father Felice Accrocca, stated that Guarnieri, born in the Netherlands, “never had any relationship with faith” until she met Father Giuseppe De Luca (1898-1962), “one of the most vibrant and brilliant minds of Catholic culture in the twentieth century.”
