Pope meets with Thai prime minister

Catholic World News - September 12, 2013

Pope Francis met on September 12 with Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra of Thailand, for a conversation that centered on cooperation between Church and state in the Asian country.

The Pope also spoke with the Thai leader about the current political situation in Asia, concentrating on the promotion of human rights and religious freedom.
