Report: woman, 9 months pregnant, undergoes forced abortion in China

Women’s Rights Without Frontiers, an organization that monitors China’s one-child policy, reports that a woman who was nine months pregnant underwent a forced abortion in 2011. Her baby died in her arms after being born alive.
The woman recently broke her silence following three suicide attempts, according to the organization. She alleges that a family-planning official told her that her ex-husband signed a consent form for the forced abortion.
