Student’s letter prompts a personal phone call from Pope Francis
CWN - August 22, 2013
An engineering student who had written a letter to Pope Francis was stunned when he received a reply in the form of a personal phone call from the Pope.
Stefano Cabizza, a student at Padua University, had sent his letter to the Pope at the papal summer residence in Castel Gandolfo. He told the ANSA news agency that he was at first speechless when the Pontiff called, but recovered to have a friendly 8-minute conversation.
