Planned Parenthood to pay $4.3M in Medicaid fraud settlement

Catholic World News - August 01, 2013

Following an investigation by the Texas attorney general’s office, Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast has agreed to a $4.3 million settlement with the federal government, the State of Texas, and a whistleblower, LifeNews.com reported.

“The State’s investigation revealed that Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast improperly billed the Texas Medicaid program for products and services that were never actually rendered, not medically necessary, and were not covered by the Medicaid program – and were therefore not eligible for reimbursement,” according to the Texas attorney general’s office. “For example, state investigators determined that Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast falsified material information in patients’ medical records in order to support fraudulent reimbursement claims to the Medicaid program.”

This is really big, and needs to be widely publicized. We will be the ones to do it, not the secular media. They love PP.

It is not enough. Many companies have been put out of business and their directors jailed for less.
