Art exhibit to open in Brazil for World Youth Day

Catholic World News - July 10, 2013

The Pontifical Council for the Laity has organized an exhibit of artworks and manuscripts to be displayed in Rio de Janeiro during World Youth Day observances there, and continuing until October.

The exhibit, entitled “In the Footsteps of the Lord,” will be shown at the Museu Nacional de Belas Artes, opening on July 9 and showing until October 12. The exhibit includes works by Fra Angelico, Leonardo da Vinci, Correggio, Lorenzo Lotto, and Michelangelo.
