Laos: pastors imprisoned for spreading Christianity
Catholic World News - April 10, 2013
Communist authorities in Laos have released three Protestant pastors who were arrested in February on charges of spreading Christianity. One pastor was reportedly tortured during interrogations, and two were jailed in inhuman conditions.
The nation of 6.6 million is 67% Buddhist and 2% Christian; nearly half of Christians there are Catholics.
