Green Bay diocese settles abuse lawsuit
CWN - March 20, 2013
The Diocese of Green Bay, Wisconsin, has reached a settlement to end a sex-abuse lawsuit, agreeing to pay $700,000 to two brothers who were molested by the same priest in the 1970s.
The settlement ends a case that had come to trial last year. The jury's verdict in the case, which also called for a $700,000 payment, was overturned by a judge after one member of the jury was found to have been biased.
