Philippine high court suspends reproductive health law

The Philippine Supreme Court has suspended the implementation of the nation’s controversial reproductive health law for four months.
The high court stated it has done so in order “to fully assess the merits and demerits of the pending petitions challenging the constitutionality of the RH [reproductive health] law.”
