$10M settlement in Los Angeles abuse cases
Catholic World News - March 13, 2013
The Archdiocese of Los Angeles has agreed to pay $10 million to four men who alleged abuse by Michael Baker, a priest of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles who was ordained in 1974 and laicized in 2000.
“We've taken responsibility for Michael Baker, whatever he did and for whomever he did it to,” said archdiocesan attorney J. Michael Hennigan.
