‘My brother, Cardinal Dolan’

CWN - March 05, 2013

In an interview with the National Catholic Register, Bob Dolan describes his brother, Cardinal Timothy Dolan of New York, as a man of genuine piety and joy.

“When most people speak of Cardinal Dolan, they usually begin with praise for his sense of humor or his approachability or his ability to make everyone feel warm and welcome and wanted,” he said. “However, while all of that is certainly true, I want people to know of his devout side; his unshakeable prayer life; his immeasurable love of Jesus; the joy he feels by following Christ.”

Yes, Cardinal Dolan certainly does have a sense of humor. I will never forget the picture of him laughing it up at the Al Smith dinner with Obama on one side of him and Romney on the other. I guess I just don't share in his sense of humor when I think of Abortion on demand and Gay marriage being promoted by POTUS.
