Florida judge permits 3 names on birth certificate

Catholic World News - February 13, 2013

Following a legal battle, a Miami-Dade county judge has agreed that three names should appear on a one-year-old girl’s birth certificate: both members of a lesbian couple and the sperm donor who fathered the child.

“They wanted me to be the father of the baby, because they liked me and my look and how I am Italian,” said the father, who is also a homosexual. “I am the father and I have visitation, but legally speaking they are the parents, but that does not exclude me from [the girl’s] activities or major decisions.”
