Obama: Boy Scouts should permit homosexual scoutmasters
February 04, 2013
In a pre-Super Bowl interview, President Barack Obama urged the Boy Scouts of America to permit homosexuals to serve as scoutmasters.
“My attitude is ... that gays and lesbians should have access and opportunity the same way everybody else does, in every institution and walk of life,” he said.
“The Scouts are a great institution that are promoting young people and exposing them to, you know, opportunities and leadership that will serve people for the rest of their lives, and I think that nobody should be barred that,” he added.

Hardly the epitome of virtue and morality...I would hope most parents will pull their sons from this organization if the BSA changes its rules (because of some PC CEOs on their board). You would think after the priest scandal that common sense would prevail - what are they thinking? Perhaps some thought could be given by religious organizations in creating their own scouting organization(s) - including girl scouting that has already changed.
