French legislature votes in favor of same-sex marriage
CWN - February 04, 2013
In a 249-97 initial vote, France’s National Assembly has voted to legalize same-sex marriage and adoption by homosexual couples. The vote follows a massive January 13 protest against the government’s efforts to legalize same-sex marriage.
The assembly will hold a final vote on the measure on February 12.
