Theologian says China will have world's largest Christian population
CWN - December 03, 2012
The controversial American theologian Harvey Cox has predicted that within 20 years, China will boast the world’s largest Christian population.
Cox, the Harvard Divinity School professor whose book The Secular City made him a liberal favorite in the late 1960s, made that prediction during a talk at the Gregorian University in Rome. Speaking about inter-religious dialogue, he said that Christianity is growing fastest today in countries that do not have a strong historical tradition of Christian culture.
