Study on media use among Catholics: 62% on Facebook, 32% subscribe to newspaper, 2% blog

A survey on Catholics’ media use, conducted by the Center for Applied Research in the Apostolate has found that 62% of Catholics in the US have a Facebook profile, 32% subscribe to a daily newspaper, and 2% have a personal blog.
The survey also found that television is Catholics’ primary news source: 61% said that television is their primary news source, compared with 20% who turn foremost to the internet, 12% to print publications, and 4% to the radio.
