Irish agencies counseling women to lie about abortions?

Counselors at government-run agencies have offered Irish women misleading, illegal, and even dangerous advice regarding abortion, the Irish Independent has revealed.
An investigation by the Independent uncovered evidence that counselors encouraged women to conceal their abortions from their regular doctors—a practice that one doctor described as “definitely reckless and probably negligent.”
Irish police said that they are looking into the allegations contained in the Independent story to determine whether the counselors violated the law.
