An Italian historian recalls the forces in play at Vatican II

Catholic World News - October 12, 2012

In his new book The Second Vatican Council: An Unwritten Story, Italian historian Roberto de Mattei provides a thorough analysis of the people, places, and ideas that dominated the discussions of Vatican II, putting them all in the context of the thoughts and trends of the early 1960s. Michel Miller, who helped translate the book into English, provides his own brief summary of de Mattei's analysis.
