Paraguay: impeached ex-bishop to run for office

Fernando Lugo, a former bishop who was laicized upon his election as Paraguay’s president in 2008 and impeached and removed from office by the nation’s legislature in June, has announced that he will run for office again.
Lugo has admitted to fathering two children out of wedlock, one while a bishop.
