Israelis outraged as Cardinal Martino refers to Gaza 'concentration camp'

The president of the Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace has angered Israeli diplomats by comparing the Gaza Strip to a "big concentration camp." Cardinal Renato Martino made his comments in an interview for an Italian web site. An Israeli foreign ministry spokesman said it was "shocking and disappointing" to hear "the vocabulary of Hamas propaganda" from a leading Vatican official.
