‘Horrible desecration’ of statue at historic St. Louis church
CWN - August 20, 2012
A statue of the Virgin Mary outside the second-oldest Catholic church in St. Louis has been vandalized in a manner described as a “Satanic hate crime” and “horrible act of desecration” by one of the priests who ministers there.
On the night of August 9, the head of the statue outside St. Mary of Victories Church was cut off. On August 13, the head, made to look like a vampire and marked with Satanic inscriptions, was found at the statue’s feet.
