Pakistan: 9 Christian nurses poisoned
Catholic World News - August 02, 2012
Nine Christian nurse trainees in Karachi were served poisoned tea on July 29, prompting calls for a judicial inquiry.
“The government has turned a blind eye to the persecution of minorities,” said Michael Javed, a Christian and former member of the provincial assembly. “Our girls are being [forcibly] converted and our churches are being attacked.”
