Pope offers condolences at death of Cuban activist
CWN - July 25, 2012
Pope Benedict XVI has sent a message of condolence on the deaths of Cuban human-rights activists Oswaldo Paya and Harold Cepero, who were killed in a car crash on July 22.
Voicing his regret at the “tragic episode,” the Pope offered “his heartfelt condolences and spiritual closeness” to the families of the victims.
