Protestant pastor brutally murdered in India
CWN - June 07, 2012
A Protestant pastor has been brutally murdered in the southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu.
“Religious Hindu fundamentalism has been gaining ground in Tamil Nadu: since the beginning of 2012 at least five serious incidents of attacks against Christians have occurred in the state,” said Sajan George, president of the Global Council of Indian Christians, following the killing of Rev. C. Wilson.
“We demand the intervention of state authorities to protect the rights and lives of Indian citizens who believe in Christ.”
