Chicago doctor discusses how faith led him to abandon IVF
CWN - April 20, 2012
In an interview with MercatorNet, Dr. Anthony Caruso discusses his decision to stop using in vitro fertilization in his work with infertile couples. Caruso was president-elect of the Chicago Association of Reproductive Endocrinologists when he made his decision.
“The reading of a 2008 document from the Vatican, Dignitas Personae, was the first blow,” he said. “That instruction is written beautifully, and uses all of the current statistics in its analysis.”
