Arizona bans late-term abortions
April 18, 2012
Gov. Jan Brewer has signed legislation banning late-term abortions in Arizona.
“A great pro-life victory was achieved when Governor Jan Brewer signed HB 2036 into law,” the Arizona Catholic Conference said in a statement. “HB 2036 will ban abortions after 20 weeks and also makes sure that women seeking an abortion must have an ultrasound done 24 hours in advance.”
