Leading Cuban dissident speaks, one year after release from prison
CWN - March 12, 2012
Catholic World Report carries an interview with Dr. Oscar Elias Biscet, once the most prominent political dissident in Castro's Cuba.
Dr. Biscet was released one year ago after spending more than 10 years in prison because of his unflagging criticism of Cuban human-rights violations. His release was negotiated with the help of Havana's Cardinal Jaime Ortega Alamino.
