Liberal group issues American Catholic voter guide

A liberal American Catholic group has issued a voter guide for the 2012 elections, emphasizing economic and foreign-policy questions and downplaying the importance of the central “culture of life” issues that have dominated the political agenda for most loyal Catholics.
Catholics in Alliance for the Common Good, a group that has consistently supported the policies of liberal Democrats, encouraged voters to consider issues such as abortion in the context of a broader range of concerns including welfare and warfare.
