England: number of seminarians doubled in past decade

The number of seminarians in England and Wales has increased from 26 to 51 since 2001.
Father Christopher Jamison, director of the National Office for Vocation in London, attributes the rise to the formation of discernment groups. “It's not about straightforward recruitment into the religious life. It's about helping both men and women work out what's right for them in their lives.”
