Vatican Radio celebrates its history

Vatican Radio is celebrating World Radio Day by calling attention to its own history.

The Vatican broadcaster recalls its foundation by Pope Pius XI, the inaugural talk to an American audience by Pope Pius XII in 1950, and other highlights of its history.
