Vatican newspaper pays tribute to Queen Elizabeth II
CWN - February 07, 2012
L’Osservatore Romano has published a tribute to Queen Elizabeth II on the 60th anniversary of her accession to the throne.
“As Churchill divined, the British people that day lost one great servant [King George VI], and gained another.” writes Nigel Marcus Baker, the United Kingdom’s ambassador Ireland to the Holy See. “And that we celebrate with all our heart.”
