NPR headline takes 'cheap shot' at Catholic Church
CWN - January 17, 2012
The headline on a National Public Radio report asked a leading question: "Catholic Church Still Hiding Sexual Predators?" But the report itself provided absolutely no evidence that the question could be answered affirmatively, says David Pierre of The Media Report. In fact the report--based on interviews with Boston Globe reporters, reflecting on their investigative work a decade ago--never even raised the provocative question in that headline.
